       1954年4月上海出生。1986获得上海第二医科大学生理学专业硕士学位。1995年获法国鲁昂大学生物学神经生物专业博士学位。
现任生命科学学院副院长。兼任中国生物物理学会常务理事、上海生物物理学会常务理事、上海神经科学会理事，中国生理学报和中国生物物理学报编委。

      主持完成国家自然科学基金、上海市重点、教育部博士点专项基金和企业合作项目十多项；参与三项国家科技部973项目课题。在国内外学术刊物发表论文四十多篇，其中SCI收录41篇。

      主编和参编教材和译著多部。获2005年度宝钢教育基金优秀教师奖、2007年度上海市育才奖和2008年度上海市高校教学名师奖。科研成果获2009年度教育部自然科学二等奖。
